A Captivating Marlborough B&B Experience

There is a large sun drenched sitting room with an extensive music selection and well stocked book case, including daily newspapers. The artworks adorning the walls are an ecclectic mix of New Zealand and overseas works purchased on your hosts' travels. An elegant dining room opens onto the verandah where breakfast can be taken in the morning sunshine, overlooking our organic orchard and wildlife pond.
Afternoon tea, with homebaking, is served on arrival and classic Marlborough wines with nibbles are provided pre-dinner. A substantial "cooks" kitchen, made from native timbers with open shelves, offers all day access to guests if they would like hot drinks or snacks. Pure chilled water and fruit juices are supplied.
Private office facilities with scanner, fax, and landline phone or Skype are available on request. Modern utility area with laundry facilities - outdoor/natural drying only while you enjoy the day.
Peaceful Living & Sleeping
Guest accommodation comprises of a Queen and a Super King/Twin room. Snuggle into comfortable beds with fine linen and plump pillows. The generous bedrooms are furnished with oak furniture, a full length mirror, security safe and have large built-in wardrobes for luggage storage.
Lavish ensuites offer huge walk-in showers, which offer you the luxury of four settings to needle or massage your skin after the day's activities. All water is solar heated and has abundant high pressure. Quality toiletries and bathrobes are provided. Skylights in each room invite you to stargaze on crystal clear Marlborough nights if you wish.
Each guest room opens into the north facing, fully glazed gallery. The welcoming two seater couches invite you to relax with any of the magazines provided or just sit and take in spectacular Marlborough.
Accommodation Atmosphere
Under our magnificent totara trees is a picnic table and a barbecue for guests to enjoy a twilight gourmet meal on a balmy Marlborough evening. Hampers available - just ask your hosts.
Our comfortable Bed and Breakfast was built following sustainable principles. A huge organic vegetable and soft fruits garden and orchard, as well as free range hens supply our home. Guests are welcome to wander in any of the gardens - the hens love having their photos taken! A large pond attracts many birds and insects so why not while away an hour or so on the summer seat, watching them darting and swooping over the water.
