Welcome to Jefferswood Bed and Breakfast Eco-Accommodation, you have arrived at a haven for rest and relaxation. The pewakawaka or native fantail is delightful, curious, and adventurous. These tiny birds often accompany hikers as they walk, watching for insects in the disturbed soil.

Driving Directions

From Blenheim pass through the township of Renwick on State Highway 6. Cross the Wairau River bridge, travel 1km and you enter the Kaituna Valley. After a further 6 minutes driving north on SH6 look for Camerons Road on your left by a large layby.

From Nelson pass through the township of Havelock (if coming along Queen Charlotte Drive from Picton, turn left (south) at the turnoff onto SH6). Once past Queen Charlotte Drive turnoff at the south of Havelock, continue driving south down SH6 for ten minutes. You will pass the Okaramio tavern on your left. Continue driving a further 1km and look on your right for Camerons Road.

Jefferswood Bed and Breakfast is 300m down Camerons Road (on shingle).

When we left Jefferswood, we first went to Kaikoura for the whalewatch. On our way to Kaikoura we saw lots of seals as you told us.
